Building Maintenance Services Limited (BMSL) is one of Trinidad and Tobago’s premier janitorial firms since its inception in 1983. From that time to present, we have built an enviable reputation for quality, efficiency and the ability to get the job done in a safe and timely manner.

With over 250 employees and over 63 clients country wide, BMSL has the experience and highly trained workforce to complete any janitorial task, large or small at a competitive rate. This ability is reflected by our company core values which are as follows:

These values guide our leadership team, which include the founder of the company, Mr. Errol Jones, as the chairman of the board of directors and our recently added new general manager, Mr. Randy John. They are in turn supported by a well tenured team of managers and supervisors with over 60 years of both local and international work experience to ensure that we exceed our customers’ expectations.

Our diverse clientele includes such firms such as KPMG, CUNA Caribbean Insurance, Republic Bank Limited, Home Mortgage Bank and several others. We also provide janitorial services for many government agencies including T&TEC, Powergen, National Insurance Board and the Ministry of Education.

We do all aspects of commercial cleaning, which include but are not limited to, pressure washing, carpet cleaning, window washing and sanitact servicing as well as provide a wide range of washroom consumables.

Apart from our expert janitorial services, BMSL provides a range of additional services through our facilities management subsidiary company, JL Engineering Limited. Founded in July 2000, JL Engineering Limited supports BMSL through the provision of facility management consultancy, minor civil works, plumbing, air condition unit servicing and electrical installation services. Consequently, BMSL has the ability to be a “one stop shop” to provide all janitorial and facility management needs within any commercial or residential building.

Recently, due to the Covid 19 pandemic, we have included sanitization services upon request and have incorporated additional measures at all the sites we operate to minimize the spread of this dangerous virus. BMSL utilizes a very comprehensive Covid 19 contingency plan and is well prepared to handle any pandemic related emergencies.

To ensure our work is done safely, BMSL has a robust health and safety department to ensure we exceed typical industry safety standards. We regularly complete safety audits at all our sites and conduct HSE training for staff at all levels. We are also fully environmentally friendly products and recycling reusable waste where applicable.

At BMSL, we are also constantly improving our technological capabilities to serve our customers. We use our technological advantages to track consumable usage and enhance communication between clients and our managers. We are also presently exploring the use of phone-based apps to send reports, provide updates and complete checklists.
